Day 1: CUSCO – SANTA TERESA – HYDROELECTRIC – AGUAS CALIENTES

We will pick you up at 7:30am and start at 8:00am from Cusco and go through the Sacred Valley of the Incas. During the journey we will appreciate different villages and climate change from the Andes to the tropical sites. Our first stop is in Santa Teresa where we enjoy a typical Peruvian lunch, then continue the tour to Hydroelectric, arriving there at 3:00pm. Next, we will walk for 3 hours and arrive in Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes), where we settle in the hostel with private bathrooms and hot water. We will have dinner here and it is also optional in the evening to go to the hot springs.

 Day 2: MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

This time we will get up around 4:00am to have breakfast and leave at 4:30am, heading toward the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, walking approximately 1 hour and a half. The goal is to see the sunrise from the Inca site and be the first to arrive. Then we will take in the beautiful Machu Picchu with our professional guide during a 2.5 hour tour, finishing with some free time for you to explore. After visiting Machu Picchu, we walk towards Hydroelectric where our bus awaits (3pm) to return to the city of Cusco, arriving around 9:30/10:00pm.Note: There is possibility to spend one more night in Machu Picchu town paying $30 extra, and return next day.
